Pressing Cloths

We have improved our tight weave polypropylene cloth to make it more open with better flow characteristics while still retaining its ability to keep the solid content in the juice at a minimum. DE809 cloth is more resistant to bleach and other chemicals. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

Laundering Information:
Wash all cloths before using. Wash cloths in cold water using only Diversol (see Chemicals Preservatives, Cleaners, & Enzymes) or equivalent. DO NOT MACHINE DRY or HANG IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. NOTE: ONLY STORE CLOTHS WHEN COMPLETELY DRY. MILDEW CANNOT BE WASHED OUT; CLOTHS MUST BE REPLACED.

Press Racks - (Plastic)

Our press racks are made from a white, FDA approved, polyethylene plastic. Starting with a 1/4" thick sheet, a V-shaped pattern is vacuum formed onto the rack. The racks are solid. We have successfully sold this type of rack for over 10 years. They have withstood the test of time. Do not use a formed plastic rack at the bottom of a press stack. A press cloth filled with ground fruit is needed underneath the rack to support the formed pattern of the rack. If the rack is put under pressure on a flat surface, white stress lines will form, and may lead to premature cracking. A Day Equipment stress relieved poly base or equivalent should be used for this purpose. New racks should be washed prior to use.
